What is it?
We will gather together at the Community Center for the second of three Dialogue & Discovery (D&D) Leadership Collaboration Meetings. The purpose of the three gatherings will be to continue the process of reviewing the church mission and vision to reaffirm God’s call and vision for BCC as we move through this transition season (Recommendation #12). I will bring questions to be discussed around our five table groups (dialogue) and we will then debrief each table group discussion as a large group gathering (discovery). These three D&D meetings are task critical to our overall objective of both understanding and reconstituting the ministry culture and structures at BCC. It is vital to this process that all ministry leads and leadership team members participate in these three meetings as we need input from each of you, you are the ones who are most heavily invested in determining the future ministry outcomes we achieve for BCC. Here is the basic framework for the three meetings:

1. Agreed on baseline – work so far (how we got here / what it means) Objective: working awareness of agreed upon approach to ministry 2. Continued dialogue to gain clarity – current realities (where we are / what it means) Objective: team awareness of what God has done and His will and way for the future
3. Final and prayerful affirmation – mission/vision/values (where we are going) Objective: Leadership discernment and affirmation —> here we go!
GOAL: Mission clarity, values re-affirmed, vision embraced, observable indicators reviewed WITH A PROCESS of team building while implementing new leadership structures and culture.
